Not what you expected?  Well you should be redirected in a moment.  Failing that, follow this link to the real live International Rescue Corps.  I was rather surprised to find that they didn't have the domain international-rescue.org, but until late 2000 it was being "cyber-squatted".  Not any more.  In January 2001, when it failed to be renewed and the registration lapsed, I picked it up instantly, to redirect it where it belongs.

DAMN! I got careless. As of January 2005 the domain squatters have got it again... I'm not even going to bother to ask how much they want to extort for it. I am, however, going to leae this page up, out of sheer bloody mindedness because I hate domain squatters.

I am a fan of Thunderbirds, from whence I believe the Corps got its inspiration and name, and also the other work of Gerry Anderson, my own take on which you can find elsewhere.

Here I'd just like to salute those people, who voluntarily risk their lives to help others in times of catastrophe - and not just in high-profile and newsworthy disasters, but every day.  Give them a thought, and better still some support.
