Chessington, a darkened living room

Settling in to watch a classic story from the golden age of Dr Who.  This is the last time I remember it being so good.  (Real cheesy nourishment, and not even self-consistent, but still better than most of it since.)  This story which features the departure of Jo Grant as the Doctor's companion came as a blow.  This was the last of the great regular ensemble of Pertwee's Doctor (throwing in some odd vaudeville comedy), Jo Grant, the Brigadier, and Sgt. Benton.  It is also the last one I remember actually quite vividly.  I lost interest when Tom Baker took over, and don't think much of the recent revivial.
