If price of ticket sounds too good to be true, it is

"ALMOST half a million people have been ripped off by ticket scams in the last year, a new study reveals.  Fans of live gigs and festivals in Britain are scammed for more than £30million every year, the research shows.  One in seven people who buys a ticket to a live event is ripped off by a fake website.  More than 70 per cent of scams relate to live music events. With the average customer spending £50 a ticket, it is a lucrative business. The research, by online ticket exchange viagogo, coincides with the relaunch today of the Office of Fair Trading’s ‘Just Tick It’ campaign to raise awareness of fake ticketing sites."
