I'm guessing it doesn't take a dyed-in-the-wool techie to at least get some understanding of the evidence here. Like I said - check out the dates at the bottom. Until it was registered by NI on July 5th, sunonsunday.co.uk didn't exist. July 5th. Tuesday. And the NotW closure was announced Thursday.
Closure of the News of the World is just a cynical ploy - the loyal staff paying the price of a a corrupt management regime (who, it doesn't go unnoticed, are still in clover). This shedding of skin to shirk off the now woefully tainted brand, in order to the start flogging the New Super Sunday Sun, is exactly as was mentioned on Question Time last night - a sickening cynical ploy. It's sacrificing an old media enterprise and all its attendant jobs (and cost), in favour of expanding a new media enterprise.
All the while the headline-grabbing generates provide a nice thick blanketting smoke-screen for NI's attempts to buy up the totality of BSkyB (and then just watch the cost of TV rocket even as the quality plummets). Only days ago James Murdoch was whining about too much regulation of the media. Hmm, wonder why.
